Terms of Services
- This service is on a "first come first served" basis.
- First-time borrowers are required to read and sign an equipment loaning agreement form, which will allow them to borrow the equipment for the current academic year.
- All equipment borrowed must be collected and returned by the borrowers within the due date (30 minutes before the closing of the Libraries).
- Renewals, recalls or reservation services are not available.
- All equipment borrowed must be used only on the University campus for academic and/or educational purposes unless otherwise agreed in advance.
- Booking of equipment from HKU Faculty/Department can be made in advance via Email-A-Librarian (To: Lending Services).
Points to Note for Immersive Experience
- Start your immersive experience slowly to avoid motion sickness.
- If you experience discomfort, stop using the immersive device immediately and take a rest until you feel better.
- Keep the volume on the headphones or headset low enough to ensure you can hear and alert the situation around.
- Where applicable, gently adjust the strap on HMD until snug.
- Follow the instructions and maintain personal hygiene.
