As of 1 October 2010, access to the library resources through the HKUPPP dial-up service (the telephone line) will no longer be supported. Staff and students of HKU should use either EZProxy or HKUVPN to access these resources.

The game presents questions about real-life engineering scenarios, and students use Knovel to research and find the answers. Every entry with three correct answers is automatically entered in a drawing to win an iPad, a US$500 cash prize, or one of several other cool prizes that range from Amazon gift cards to iPod Nanos. Every school with high participation (100 correct entries or more) are guaranteed their own prize.

The Libraries is pleased to introduce self-service colour photocopying at Main, Branch Libraries and Special Collections from February 1, 2010. A4 colour photocopies are charged at $2.4 per page.
