Library Opening Hours during Buddha’s Birthday/Labour Day
28 April 2012 (Buddha’s Birthday)
Main Library Study Area, Main Circulation, Fung Ping Shan Library, AV & Reserve Collection, Special Collections, 2/F Green Roof, and Law Library will open from 10am to 7pm.
Medical Library will open from 10am to 5pm.
Dental Library, Education Library, and Music Library will be closed.
The Main Library Student Learning Centre and Study Zone, Level 3, will remain open after Main Library opening hours (except cleaning time for Study Zone between 9am to 10 am) for the use of CURRENT STAFF and CURRENT STUDENTS ONLY.
1 May 2012 (Labour Day)
Main Circulation, AV & Reserve Collection, Fung Ping Shan Library, Special Collections, Law Library will open from 10am to 7pm.
Medical Library will open from 10am to 6am of the following day.
Dental Library, Education Library, and Music Library will be closed.
30 April to 20 May 2012
Main Library Study Area will open 21.5 hours from 8:30 am to 6 am.
After library opening hours, contract security guards will be stationed in the building to provide basic security services. Users can check out books using the self-check stations on ground and fourth floors when the circulation counter is closed. All public computers, printers and copiers will also be available but no refill of printing papers will be provided.
