Key Dates for Library Patrons
Below are key dates all Library patrons should take note and take action accordingly.
| Date | Description |
| 15 May | Processing of book recommendations received after 15 May 2017 may be delayed owing to system freeze |
| 5 June | Last day to request for HKALL items and walk-in borrowing by JULAC patrons |
| 6 June to 17 July | Temporary suspension of HKALL request service. During this period, eligible patrons please use Interlibrary Loans Services to request books from other UGC-funded university libraries. |
| 7 June | Display of new additions will be suspended from 14 June to 12 July 2017. Service will resume on 19 July 2017. |
| 9 June | Library catalogue frozen. Though no new records will be added, searching in the catalogue remains available till new system goes live. |
| 15 June | Last day to return HKALL and JULAC walk-in patron loan items |
| 11 July | Last day to download personal reading history of HKU library items via MyAccount@HKUL |
| 11 July | Last day to print out the history of request for interlibrary loans |
| 11 July | Last day to capture outstanding fines and fees and details from MyAccount@HKUL |
