Online Application Form for HKU SPACE Part-time Student Library Card

 

Eligibility

Eligible HKU SPACE part-time students of designated courses should receive the library card application letters from HKU SPACE.

 

Card Information

Part-time students will be offered the Borrower’s or Reader’s cards as indicated on the library card application letters. Type of access and card validity will vary depending on programs or courses.

Notes:
1. The Reader’s card does not carry borrowing or remote access privileges to electronic resources. If you wish to upgrade your membership, please contact your program coordinator before submitting the online application.
2. Some of the licensed e-resources are restricted to current HKU staff, students and/or SPACE users. View details of e-resources access at http://sunzi.lib.hku.hk/ER/.

 

Application

  • Part-time students should submit the online application for card issuance before the application deadline as indicated in the library card application letter.
  • If an application is incomplete or not successful, the applicant will receive a cancellation email with further instructions.
  • The library card will be issued after 10 working days upon submission of an online application. Applicant should collect the card in person at the Enquiries Counter on the 2/F of the Main Library. Please check Service hours for card collection.

Terms and Conditions

1. An individual is entitled to the library privileges of one user category only.
2. All members must abide by the policies, rules and regulations of the Libraries.
3. A fee of $150 will be levied for the replacement of lost or damaged card. Card replacements should be completed on-site or by cheque.
