Online Application Form for HKU SPACE Part-time Staff Borrower's Card Eligibility Eligible HKU SPACE Adjunct Lecturers, Adjunct Associate Professors or Part-time Tutors should receive the library card application letters from HKU SPACE Registry. Card Information Part-time staff will be offered one-year Borrower’s cards as indicated on the library card application letters. Application Part-time staff should submit the online application for card issuance or renewal within 30 days from the issued date of the library card application letter. If an application is incomplete or not successful, the applicant will receive a cancellation email with further instructions. New application: The Borrower’s Card will be issued after 7 working days. Upon successful application, applicant should make payment for HK$50 University-levied smart card fee and collect the card in person at the Enquiries Counter on the 2/F of the Main Library. The card will be issued within 1 HOUR upon payment. Renewal application: The Facilities Access Card will be reactivated automatically after 7 working days upon successful application. Terms and Conditions 1. An individual is entitled to the library privileges of one user category only. 2. All members must abide by the policies, rules and regulations of the Libraries. 3. A fee of $150 will be levied for the replacement of lost or damaged card. Card replacements should be completed on-site or by cheque.
