How do I pay for library fines and fees using Online Payment?

 

1. Go to the website "HKUL Fines and Fees Online Payment", choose the appropriate login type.

 

2a. For current patron, log in by entering your HKU Portal UID / library card number and PIN.

 

2b. For non-current patron, log in by entering your university card number (for HKU Staff/Students) / library card number and your surname.

 

3. Select the fines / fees to be settled and click "Submit"

 

4. Check the total amount and click "Confirm"

 

5. Select a payment method (Credit card or Mobile Payment)

 

6a. Credit card

• i. Enter your credit card information and click "Pay now"

 

• ii. You will be directed to the payment receipt page. A payment receipt will also be sent to your email.

 

6b. Mobile payment

• i. Select a mobile payment method

 

• ii. Open your mobile payment APP (e.g. Alipay) and scan the QR code to pay.

 

• iii. Click "Back to merchant" after successful payment.

 

• iv. You will be directed to the Payment receipt page. A payment receipt will also be sent to your email.
