Basic Law Drafting History Online (BLDHO) is an online database of information and materials from the drafting history of Hong Kong's constitution, The Basic Law of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China. BLDHO provides free public access to a collection of almost 900 documents prepared or used by the various official bodies from 1985 to 1990, when the Basic Law was drafted and promulgated, and from 1990 to 1997, when preparations were made for the resumption of sovereignty.

A finding aid to the Hong Kong Listed Company Papers Collection. With this new finding aid, researchers no longer need look at each document, but can quickly narrow their search to those documents most relevant.

The University of Hong Kong Libraries proudly presents two typescripts previously unpublished by Dr. B.S. Bonsall. These are translations of Red Chamber Dream (Hong Lou Meng 紅樓夢 and Records of the Warring States (Zhan Guo Ce 戰國策).

The HKU Scholars Hub showcases, preserves, and increases discovery of the scholarly work of HKU faculty and students. Research has shown that citations to this work will then increase.

The HKU Libraries through its digitization projects, has opened up online access to local collections originally in print format only. The first HKUL Digital Initiative, ExamBase, was launched in 1996 and other projects of scholarly interests were subsequently introduced. More digital projects are being developed to provide continuous access to digital content and services.
