This workshop consists of
- A brief introduction to the basic concepts, development, materials, and tools of Chinese painting conservation;
- An introduction to lining and multi-layer mounting;
- A demonstration of lining techniques; and
- A hands-on session in which participants will practice lining, and bring their work home.*
