Centenary Anniversary Conference
Academic Libraries Today: Our Future is Now
8 November 2012
Wang Gungwu Theatre
The University of Hong Kong
In joining the University with its Centenary celebrations, the University of Hong Kong Libraries will host an international conference that will serve to highlight our 100 years of achievements as well as to set a vision for our next century of ambition.
This conference will bring together library leaders and senior information professionals from around the world to celebrate, to postulate and to share best practices from some of the world’s greatest academic and research libraries.
The conference will be concluded with a celebratory gala dinner in the University's historic Loke Yew Hall where we will launch our new publication Fung Ping Shan, The Man, His Life and His Library, marking the 80th anniversary of the Fung Ping Shan Library.
