{"id":2045,"date":"2024-04-16T13:10:39","date_gmt":"2024-04-16T05:10:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lib.hku.hk\/newsblog\/?p=2045"},"modified":"2026-04-01T10:53:06","modified_gmt":"2026-04-01T02:53:06","slug":"limited-access-arrangement-for-student-julac-card-holders-30-apr-21-may-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lib.hku.hk\/newsblog\/?p=2045","title":{"rendered":"Limited Access Arrangement for Student JULAC Card Holders (30 Apr \u2013 21 May 2024)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>To manage the high demand for study areas during the revision week and examination period, the Libraries will be implementing limited entry for\u00a0JULAC\u00a0Card holders (students only) from other UGC-funded universities.<\/p>\n<p>Affected students are advised to:<\/p>\n<ol data-editing-info=\"{&quot;orderedStyleType&quot;:1}\" data-listchain=\"__List_Chain_11\">\n<li>use the HKALL services\u00a0or Interlibrary Loan services of your home library.<\/li>\n<li>return the materials via our <a href=\"https:\/\/lib.hku.hk\/cdd\/br-returns.html#bookdrop\" data-loopstyle=\"linkonly\">book drop and automated book returns<\/a>\u00a0or the\u00a0JULAC\u00a0Book Return Service at your home library on or before the due date.<\/li>\n<li>arrange the pickup of requested materials before the limited access period or present the pickup notice email to the library staff at the respective service counter during the limited access period.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Regular access to the Libraries will resume after the examination period, starting from 22 May 2024 (Wed).
