The centre devotes to maximize the lifespan and usefulness of the libraries\u2019 collections for current and future patrons.<\/p>\n<p>Conservators at the centre perform basic to complex conservation treatments on a wide range of collection materials. Other activities encompass exhibition and digitization preparation, collection assessment and survey, environmental monitoring, integrated pest management, emergency preparedness and response, creating protective housing for collections, and preservation education.
