HKU Libraries Circle of Friends
(COF) Alumni-Platinum Card
Besides the borrowing privileges
of up to 48 books and 6 audio-visual items, Card Members can
also enjoy remote access to over 10,000 e-journals and some
60,000 e-books! (details of e-resources available at (http://lib.hku.hk/friends/elibrary.html).
Alumni-Platinum Card requires an annual fee of HK$500. To join
the COF, simply
download and fill in the Circle of Friends application
form and follow the instructions stipulated.
Graduate Borrower's Card
Card Holders will be entitled to
borrowing privileges of up to 12 books and 6 audio-visual items at any time.
Application for the Graduate Borrower's Cardcan be made
at the Registration Counter, Main Library with a refundable
deposit of HK$500. This deposit can be waived if you hold a
BEA Graduate Credit Card, and your Borrower's Cardwill be valid as long as the Credit Card remains so.
Graduate Reader's Card
To get on-site access to library resources
graduates only pay a cost-recovery fee of HK$35 for the smart card itself.
Applications should be directed to the Registration Counter, Main Library.
