Reservation

Reservation is needed for the Project PCs and the Video Digitisation PCs in the Main Library KNC. Users should either:

1. Sign up on the spot that is available in the Self-Booking Station at the Reference Counter or in the main menu of any Project PCs. The coming five consecutive half-hour sessions are open for booking. Each user can book up to four sessions on the same day.

2. Reserve in advance through the KNC Booking e-form. Each user may book four half-hour sessions per day two days in advance. Advance bookings have to be confirmed on the spot using the Self-booking Station at the Reference Counter. Advance bookings that are not confirmed 10 minutes into the first session booked will be cancelled and all sessions booked for the day will be released for booking by other users. Users who have made and confirmed their bookings for equipment in the KNC have rights of use of the equipment for the sessions booked. Other users are allowed to use any equipment in the KNC but will be required to give way should a user exercises his/her right of use.
