Circulation  
The Music Library collection is available on loan to all students, teachers, staff, SPACE student and alumni of the University who enjoy different loan periods and item limits for different materials types. All reserve materials are available on loan for two hours, or overnight if borrowed two hours prior to library closing and returned prior to 10:00 a.m. the following open day. Old books in compact storage marked with Music X are available from the Main Library Circulation Department. Overdue items will be subject to the payment of a fine. Holds and renewals should be done online. Please note there is no hold for reserve materials. To view your circulation records, you need to set up a PIN.  
   
Reference  

Provide guidance to users in the effective use of library resources such as the online catalogues, CD-ROM databases, materials in the reference collection or the Internet Resources. Assistance in the use of the various sound equipment in the Listening Room will also be provided. The Music Librarian will answer all reference enquiries of a research nature.

Listening & Viewing  
The Listening Room of the Music Library is equipped with CD players, cassette decks, LCD monitors, mini-disk players, VCR, DVD/VCD/CD/LD players, etc. Headphones must be used.  
   
Photocopying  
The Music Library has a photocopier for you to make photocopies.  
   
Orientation & Library Instruction  
Orientation tours are offered to all new students and faculty members, or other interested individuals. Library instruction sessions on the use of various music information resources are offered in conjunction with several music subjects.  
   
Using Notebook Computers  
Wireless laptop connection to the web as well as ACEnet (Access Everywhere Network) nodes are available throughout the Music Library for users to plug in their notebook computers.
