I think if there are options for the users to change the color schemes of the window display, it would be more easy for the user to visualize the contents of the displays, especially when the screens are big.
For security reasons, we do not allow users to change the settings of our workstations. However, we will consider if it is possible to release the restriction to a certain extend in the future.
I do not know whether you are the right person to write to but I would like to bring your attention to the condition of a new book which I borrowed last week.
I am a part-time SJD student and I borrowed the book "Governance of Global Financial Markets" last week. I find the book was marked extensively and notes were made on many pages. This is a new book and it is heartbreaking to see that happens. It is absolutely unacceptable for someone who is supposed to be in pursuit of higher education to do something like that.
This is a new book and I am sure not too many borrowers had borrowed that before me. I am going to return the book tomorrow and you may want to investigate who can be so inconsiderate to do such a thing.
I am copying this message to our Assistant Lending Services Librarian and Head of Preservation and Conservation for their kind attention. Could you please return the book to our circulation counter on G/F Main Library tomorrow and ask the duty staff to pass it to Ms. Vivian So, so that we can follow up the case.
