Login Failure FAQ

 

For new HKU students or staff applying for student/staff cards for the first time

Your library account will be ready in 1-2 days AFTER you get your student/staff card from the Registry. If you have no card in hand, get your card first. Your portal account will be activated earlier than your library account.

Contact counter staff for help if you fail to login several days after issuing of your card.

 

For current HKU students or staff who have student/staff cards changed

If you fail to login to your circulation record, your library account needs an update to reflect the change of your card. Please take your new student/staff card to the Enquiries Counter of the Main Library and request an account update due to change of card.
