CEIC & GlobalRMB Webinar – How Fixed Income Investment into China Is Changing

The China Interbank Bond Market (CIBM) has undergone a huge transformation over the past 12 months as part of Beijing’s aim to open up and internationalize its domestic fixed income market. This presentation will discuss key changes made to the CIBM, how they are impacting foreign fund flow and what the future holds in terms of broader credit reforms.

Topics include:

  • Recap of the credit access reforms over the past 12 months and how they have affected foreign ownership of Chinese bonds, including a discussion over the potential inclusion of Chinese bonds in global bond indices.
  • Important issues surrounding unrestricted foreign investment into CIBM
