Westlaw’s new platform is now ready for access through the Libraries’ Electronic Resources page (http://sunzi.lib.hku.hk/ER/keyDB/hkul/i). The old platform Westlaw HK and the new platform Westlaw Asia will parallel run until all resources have been completely migrated to Westlaw Asia.
Westlaw Asia provides multi-jurisdictional research so with the migration, HK and UK materials can be searched across one single platform. All subscribed resources originally on the Westlaw HK platform shall continue to be covered in Westlaw Asia.
about the new platform:
- Jurisdictions under Westlaw Asia include HK, India, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and UK. HK and UK are available for searching. For other jurisdictions, please search under “Westlaw Next” (click Jurisdiction, Westlaw Next).
- Westlaw China will remain as a separate product via its own platform.
- More information about this new platform is available at http://www.westlawasia.com/.
If you have any further queries, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you.
