ICPSR: Scheduled website maintenance 18 February 2018

On Sunday, February 18, from 11 p.m. to Monday, February 19, 5 a.m., the ICPSR website and all its special topic archive sites will be down for maintenance.

We will be expanding the ICPSR offering via the Cloud to allow for increased availability and redundancy as we continue to move the ICPSR Archonnex technology forward and expand its features, functionality, and supportability.

Ovid scheduled maintenance 11 February 2018

Dear Ovid Customer:

This message is to inform you we have scheduled maintenance work on Sunday 11 February 2018, starting 2pm:

While we expect the impact to be minimal, users may experience service instability for about 6 hours, starting from 2pm onwards when using the following tools and components:

• OvidMD
• JBI Tools
• Ovid Administration Tools found at ovidsp.ovid.com. This includes administration of links, changing passwords, updating your Deposit Account, Online Journal Codes or Ovid Personal Accounts.
• eTOC sign-up
• Ovid Web Services

Please note that AutoAlerts will be delayed for a few hours while the maintenance work is completed.

Access to the main Ovid platform (OvidSP) is not affected.

We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this downtime may create, and thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to continuously improve the Ovid platform, products and overall user experience.

JapanKnowledge service suspension 28 February, 2018

Schedule of JapanKnowledge service suspension due to the system maintenance. The system maintenance includes the change of HTTPS protocol for all access to JapanKnowledge service and we might have to ask you to change links to JapanKnowledge and confirmation of some settings.

Announcement on Passport content download

There is a change in the way academic users will download content beginning on Monday, 22nd January 2018. When users click the button to download in PDF, Word or Excel format, they will be presented with the pop-up box. Upon entering their name and email address, the pop-up box will disappear and they can proceed with their download. The reason for this change is to increase security for the benefit of Euromonitor International and the subscribing clients.

Euromonitor International will not use any information collected for the purpose of marketing or any direct contact with end users, this procedure exists only to ensure continued proper use of our research.

In summary:

– As a measure to increase security with guest user Passport subscriptions, an additional step has been added to the download process
– When a guest user tries to download, they will be prompted to enter their name and email
– This information will be logged in our internal systems
– The screenshot below is an example for academic clients

MedDRA MSSO December Holiday Schedule 22 Dec 2017-1 Jan 2018

In observance of the upcoming holidays, MSSO operations (e.g., Help Desk, Training, Terminology Maintenance) will have limited availability from 22 December 2017 through 1 January 2018. The MSSO will resume normal operations on 2 January 2018.
The MSSO will continue to accept change requests submitted via WebCR during this period. The final disposition of change requests submitted during this period will be sent to users after 2 January 2018.
